MediPulse is a medication reminder and health data tracking tool only. It is not a medical device, is not FDA-cleared or CE-marked, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
The app does not provide medical advice. All health data displayed (heart rate, SpO₂, steps, etc.) is sourced from connected wearables and is informational only. Always consult a qualified physician or pharmacist before making any decisions about your medications, health, or treatment. In a medical emergency, call your local emergency services immediately.

KeyQuest Studio built MediPulse as a medication reminder and health data tracking application. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. We never sell your data and we never provide medical advice.
1 Medical Disclaimer & Scope of Service
MediPulse is a reminder and informational tracking tool — it is not a medical device and provides no medical advice. Specifically:
- The app does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition.
- The app does not replace the advice, diagnosis, or treatment provided by a licensed physician, pharmacist, or other healthcare professional.
- Health metrics displayed (heart rate, blood oxygen, steps, calories) are sourced from third-party wearable devices (Apple Watch, Samsung Galaxy Watch, Wear OS devices). KeyQuest Studio does not guarantee the accuracy of these readings.
- Medication schedules are set by the user. The app sends reminders only — it cannot verify whether a dose was taken correctly or whether a medication is appropriate for a user's condition.
- MediPulse has not been reviewed or cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the European Medicines Agency (EMA), or any equivalent regulatory body.

We do not collect: location data, payment card details, biometric authentication data (Face ID / fingerprint processing stays on your device), or any browsing history.
3 How We Use Your Information
- App functionality — sending medication reminders, syncing data across your devices, caregiver linking
- Account management — authenticating you, letting you sign in via email, Google, or Apple
- Crash diagnostics — anonymous crash reports used solely to fix bugs
We do not use your health data for advertising, profiling, marketing, or any purpose beyond operating the app. We do not share health data with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics companies.
4 Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored in Google Firebase Firestore (servers in the EU / US, ISO 27001 certified). Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and encrypted at rest. We apply Firebase Security Rules so only you (and caregivers you explicitly link) can access your records.
Biometric authentication (Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint) is processed entirely on your device using the operating system's secure enclave. KeyQuest Studio never receives, stores, or processes any biometric data.
5 Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or health data. Limited sharing occurs only in these cases:
- Google Firebase — infrastructure provider for authentication, database, and crash reporting. Governed by Google's Data Processing Addendum (GDPR-compliant).
- Caregivers you link — if you use the caregiver-linking feature, the linked person can view your medication schedule and taken/missed status. You control this link and can remove it at any time from Settings.
- Legal requirement — if required by law, court order, or government authority, we may disclose data as legally compelled.
6 Apple HealthKit (iOS)
On iOS, MediPulse may request access to Apple HealthKit to read heart rate and blood oxygen data from Apple Watch. Your HealthKit data:
- Is used only to display your vitals alongside your medication schedule within the app.
- Is never shared with advertisers, sold, or used for any commercial purpose.
- Is never used for market research or user profiling.
- Is not uploaded to our servers — HealthKit data is displayed locally and is not stored in Firebase.
You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → MediPulse.
7 Data Retention
Your data is retained while your account is active. Crash logs are retained for 90 days. If you delete your account, all associated data — medications, logs, health snapshots, and caregiver links — is permanently erased from our servers within 30 days.
8 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KeyQuest Studio, its owner, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Your use of, or inability to use, the MediPulse application;
- Any missed medication dose, incorrect dosage taken, or medication-related health event;
- Any health data displayed in the app, including heart rate, SpO₂, steps, or other wearable-sourced readings, whether accurate or inaccurate;
- Any reliance on app reminders, notifications, or caregiver alerts that fail to deliver;
- Any decisions made based on information presented in the app;
- Unauthorized access to your data resulting from your own account credentials being compromised;
- Force majeure events including server outages, internet failures, or third-party service disruptions (Firebase, Google, Apple).
MediPulse is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
In jurisdictions that do not allow limitation of implied warranties or liability for incidental or consequential damages, liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. In no event shall KeyQuest Studio's total liability exceed the amount you paid for the app in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
9 GDPR & Your Rights (EU/EEA/UK Users)
If you are in the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom, you have the following rights under GDPR:
- Right of access — request a copy of your personal data
- Right to rectification — correct inaccurate data
- Right to erasure — request deletion of your account and data
- Right to restriction — ask us to limit processing
- Right to portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interest
Our legal basis for processing health data is your explicit consent (GDPR Article 9(2)(a)), given when you create an account and enter medication information. You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.

10 Account Deletion
You can delete your account from Settings → Delete Account in the app, or by visiting our account deletion page. You can also email keyqueststudio1@gmail.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request" and we will process your request within 72 hours.
11 Children's Privacy
MediPulse is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under these ages. If you believe a child's data has been submitted, contact us immediately at keyqueststudio1@gmail.com and we will delete it within 72 hours.
